Wood-Mizer is 'Fair Play Company' 201102.01.2012
Wood-Mizer Industries Sp. z o.o. has been named as 'Fair Play Company' for 2011 in Poland's annual awards to recognise ethical business practices.
The results of the 14th Fair Play Company Programme were announced on December 2 at the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. The programme is designed to promote ethics in business, defined as standards of behavior in the mutual relations of entrepreneurs with customers, partners, employees, shareholders and the local community, as well as local and state authorities.
Businesses are assessed on all aspects of their work, including the manner and style of trading, not just economic performance and product quality. The purpose is to encourage all companies in Poland to behave ethically not only in terms of their internal organisation of work, but also by developing positive relationships with the local community and caring for the environment.
